Prevention Programming
In partnership with Prevent Child Abuse - St. Joseph County and Roofsit, the Family Justice Center offers primary prevention programming in local schools.
The Protect Yourself Rules is a research-based curriculum from the Barbara Sinatra Institute and is widely used in schools across Indiana and the United States. The efforts of this program focus on providing students with age-appropriate language and awareness about the following subjects: healthy relationships, safe touch vs. unsafe touch, how to identify a safe adult in their lives, and how to say NO to anything that does not feel safe. Please visit the links below to access a portion of the program being offered in schools in St. Joseph County, IN.
